Google Consent Mode v2
Exactly what the visitor allowed. Nothing more.
For traffic from the European Economic Area, Google’s conversion measurement and audiences depend on consent signals. Consentia sends all seven Consent Mode v2 signals.
Signals
What Google receives, case by case.
Default values are sent before any Google tag starts and are updated as soon as the visitor decides. When the visitor chooses by category, statistics and marketing are passed on separately.
| Signal | Before choosing | Accept all | Reject all |
|---|---|---|---|
ad_storage | denied | granted | denied |
ad_user_data | denied | granted | denied |
ad_personalization | denied | granted | denied |
analytics_storage | denied | granted | denied |
functionality_storage | denied | granted | denied |
personalization_storage | denied | granted | denied |
security_storage | granted | granted | granted |

Integration
Works with your existing setup.
Consentia passes the signals to Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Google & YouTube app if they are already installed. Alternatively, it can load the Google tag with your store’s IDs.
- Campaign attribution (url_passthrough)The source of a visit is kept between pages, even without cookies.
- Data protection on rejection (ads_data_redaction)When ad storage is denied, ad click identifiers are removed.
- Wait time (wait_for_update)How long Google tags wait for the visitor’s choice before sending data.
